Visit and goods on one bill
A haircut and the shampoo that followed it leave the salon as one payment, not two conversations.
Discounts
By percentage or by amount, on a line or on the whole bill, and always visible in the reports afterwards.
Split payment
Part in cash, part by card, part from the loyalty balance. The bill closes when the parts add up.
Stock
What left the shelf leaves the stock count, so the shelf and the screen do not disagree by the end of the month.
The total is computed on the server
The browser shows the total; it does not decide it. Every figure is recomputed where it cannot be edited, so a bill cannot be talked into a different number by the device it was rung up on. How the till works day to day: Till and stock.
